THE EXPERIENCE

An encounter, not an image

On screen, a photograph is an image. In the gallery, it is an encounter.

Adam Rabinowitz's work is made to be experienced at scale - in the right light, at the size the moment deserved, surrounded by the stories of Africa's wildlife and wild places.

Our galleries at the V&A Waterfront were created for exactly that:
a space to slow down, to stand in front of a photograph, and to feel what the moment felt like.

As a warm welcome to our new gallery space, we invite you to enjoy a complimentary coffee or glass of wine during your visit.

Plan Your Visit

The Moorings Gallery

A short walk from the Watershed — a space of stillness dedicated to private viewings, collector consultations and the work as it was intended: full scale, gallery light, room to stand back.
